Labor & Delivery isn’t just about medicine—sometimes it’s about creating a moment of calm. I made these towel swans on the baby warmer so a laboring mom would have something nice to look at.

Even now, working in Labor & Delivery, I’m grateful for every shift I spent on the truck. EMS taught me how to stay calm when the room gets loud, a skill that still serves me well today.
